The Greenville Transit Authority has some good news to share as the Greenlink Holiday Bus will offer free rides.

"The Holiday Bus is a great opportunity for us to spread good cheer in our community," Public Transit Director James Keel said. "We hope the anticipation of catching the Holiday Bus is fun for our customers and that the bus brings a little joy to those who see it go by."

From Dec 11-24, Greenlink will rotate the festively decorated bus through its 12 fixed routes, operating on a different route each day. Customers on the route served by the Holiday Bus will receive free rides courtesy of Streetlevel Media.

This is the second year Greenlink has decorated a bus for the holiday season.

"In this season of giving, we wanted to help Greenlink provide free bus rides as a way to introduce our business and thank Greenlink customers for their patronage and support of public transportation," James Dawson, owner of Streetlevel Media, said. "We're excited to be a part of the Greenville community, and we look forward to working with future transit advertising clients."

Streetlevel Media is the contracted vendor for Greenlink's advertising opportunities. Anyone interested in advertising on the Greenlink buses can visit StreetlevelMedia.com for detailed information on the same.

Although Greenlink will not release the schedule for the Holiday Bus in advance, customers can follow Greenlink on Twitter at https://twitter.com/RideGreenlink for clues on its location each day.
